The Leadpipe is the most important component of a french horn, dictating its sound and playability. An appreciable difference can be obtained by upgrading to a custom leadpipe. The Cantesanu Leadpipe will significantly upgrade most any french horn.

Originally designed for the "Model C" horn, the Leadpipe is free blowing, fast responding, has precise attack and intonation throughout all registers and promotes a projecting sound. Made of Brass and featuring an Amado water key, the Leadpipe has been installed on horns like Rauch, Berg, Lewis, Lawson, Schmid, Conn, Otto, Yamaha, Holton and others with great results. Leadpipe Trial: Leadpipes are shipped with a tuning slide receiver and easy trial instructions, providing the possibility of playing it back to back with the original leadpipe in minutes.
