The Model C Mouthpiece was designed as a counterpart of the custom Model C horn and it has the same playing characteristics, however hornists with a variety of equipment have quickly discovered the mouthpiece's many assets - from its unique design inside and out, to its combination of metal alloys - providing the best playing characteristics. Qualities such as free blowing, fast responding, comfortable, evenness throughout all ranges with a rich, projecting sound make this exciting new product a perfect match for today's professional horn player. 

The Cup: Silver-plated Brass was chosen for the cup, a proven metal alloy for brass instrument mouthpieces. In addition to making the mouthpiece look unique, the cup’s exterior design distributes mass in a distinct way to provide the best response, as well as sound core and projection. The new and unique interior design allows air to pass through freely throughout all registers - without the usual back pressure buildup in the high register - with quick response and great intonation.

The Rim: Medical grade Stainless Steel has been chosen for the rim -- this provides superior comfort and smoothness, as well as adding more core and projection to the sound. A smooth, round, comfortable shape makes up the rim contour. Available in 5 sizes: Extra Large (XL), Large (L), Medium (M), Small (S) and Extra Small (XS), all rims match the Model C cup flawlessly to create a complete mouthpiece.

The Model C Mouthpiece has been designed by Cantesanu Horns and is exclusively manufactured for the shop by the world renowned Schilke company.
